Verdict
This looks less competitive than the handicap SPECIAL VENTURE finished second in at Carlisle last time. Tim Easterby's colt is preferred to recent Chepstow winner Guiding Light and can go in again. Caigemdar went very close at Newcastle last time while Velociter and Popeswood showed a bit more on their latest starts having slipped down the handicap. Windsor winner Pyrocumulus steps up a grade and Character Onesie makes more appeal now back over a shorter trip.
