Verdict
The progressive Steve Rogers has done all his winning over shorter trips and was beaten three lengths on his only start so far over 2m. Rowlestone Lass beat Gleese The Devil a neck over course and distance last month with Snowy Dawn further behind while Big Thunder had FULL DAY (NAP) back in fourth when scoring over today's trip at York in July. But the latter re-opposes on much better terms today and, with an apprentice taking a further 7lb off her back, Brian Ellison's fily gets the nod.
