In depth

Verdict

Rusty Rocket beat Sir Maximilian over 5f here a fortnight ago in rain-softened ground. The latter is weighted to turn the tables today and may do so while Chester Aristocrat ran well over track and trip last month but is drawn out with the washing for this. SUMMERINTHECITY had runner-up Intransigent a couple of lengths behind when scoring over course and distance in May. Dandy Nicholls' charge is 4lb higher today but the competition looks no tougher and he gets the nod. Sacrosanctus and El Viento are both capable on their day but it's becoming increasingly hard to predict when that will be.
