Verdict

Dr Simpson made a pleasing debut when runner-up at Windsor in mid-April and hasn't been seen since. The market may reflect stable expectations on this return to action. Mia Diva battled on well to oblige on her second start and is going the right way but has the worst of the draw but is respected all the same. It's understandable to see Too Hard To Hold down to the minimum trip having twice shown good speed to make the running over 6f so this looks ideal for the Johnston inmate. However, UPSTATE NEW YORK is better than form figures suggest having twice missed the break. Still only beaten a neck last time, he's every chance if breaking on terms.
