        Verdict

        FYRE CAY is progressing well and defied a penalty for an earlier win to score again in novice company at Redcar. He should go close on his handicap bow and is preferred to the more exposed Chai Chai, placed in a nursery at Salisbury last week. Gabrial The Devil finished closer at Windsor without threatening the winner but Knowing Glance may prove a bigger danger handicapping for the first time today having shown only modest form so far and closely matched with Falmouth Light on latest running.
