In depth

Verdict

Kingscroft, Spanish Plume and Dolphin Rock are all previous course winners. Dandy won at Chepstow and Bath before disappointing at Sandown while Cosmic Halo and COINCIDENTLY appear to be running into form and enter the equation. Robert Tart claims a further 3lb off the latter and that can help her get her head in front for the first time in almost a year as her latest second over track and trip came in a higher grade. Hanalei Bay has only gone up 3lb since his latest win at Hamilton but is trying a new trip today and Al Mukhdam finished behind Spanish Plume here two runs ago. Ardmay is starting to come down the weights, however, and will probably find a race before the end of the season.
