        Verdict

        None of these inspire confidence on recent form but THISTIMENEXTYEAR has more scope than most. Well beaten over 1m6f last time, he won a maiden race in soft going at Lingfield before that and gets another chance in this. Outback Blue has placed off a higher mark here this year and Celestation notched up a string of placed efforts earlier in the year. Marsh Pride was third over 1m4f at the track in June but Bahama Moon and Gabrial's Kaka continue to slide down the weights without showing any signs of a resurgence.
