In depth

Verdict

BITS AND BOBS defied inexperience to win with plenty in hand at Leicester last week and a penalty may not be enough to prevent a quick double. Master Franca didn't look at home on fast ground at York but still ran a race full of promise. There's No Limit led for a long way over slightly further at Newbury while Je Ne Sais Quoi followed a promising Ascot debut with comfortable victory at Thirsk. Invincible Friend performed well in his first two starts on soft going but was very disappointing on fast ground at Haydock.
