        Verdict

        MUNTAHAA (NAP) looks to have strong claims in this. Third behind Across The Stars in the Group 2 King Edward V11 Stakes at Ascot in June, John Gosden’s colt should stay this extra distance. Pamona won a Listed event at York over 1m6f but disappointed when favourite at Goodwood last time while Cymro would have a chance with a repeat of his earlier fourth to Dartmouth in the Ormonde Stakes here. Sea Of Heaven won over 2m at Ascot last month and went close again last time while Mistiroc also landed a handicap at Ascot when beating Duretto though the latter re-opposes on better terms. Gabrial The Hero was narrowly beaten over today’s trip at Musselburgh recently and Fabricate may improve for the longer distance.
