      Verdict

Musharrif has gone up 6lb for landing a Class 5 handicap at Beverley and the two tracks couldn't be more different. The veteran Masamah goes for his 10th victory but hasn't won for over three years while Signore Piccolo, though reasonably consistent, still looks a few pounds high. Sophisticated Heir hadn't been running well before bouncing back in no uncertain terms at Wolverhampton but he's been hit with an 8lb rise. The only three-year-old in the race, BOSSIPOP, will enjoy the conditions more than most and looks reasonably treated so gets the vote in a tricky contest.
