Verdict
Andrew Balding bids to win this for the fourth time in succession and Kempton runner-up Alsakib should give a good account but ORCHID BLOOM may prove a notch above these. The Haggas filly made a winning debut at Newmarket in October and an entry in next month’s Coronation Stakes suggests she’s held in some regard. O G Beachwear ran well at Thirsk on her debut and Kintaro showed some promise at York last autumn.
