      Verdict

Kashgar has won both previous renewals though has to race off a 5lb higher mark this time. OUR GABRIAL is back on the same mark as when winning at Ascot last year and he may come good again ahead of stablemate Gabrial The Duke. The latter never threatened despite finishing second at Musselburgh a fortnight ago while recent 1m4f runner-up Poetic Verse steps up in trip along with Ambleside. Wordiness has won over 2m at Newbury but remains 7lb higher so the lightly-raced Sands Of Fortune looks a bigger threat.
