Verdict
A couple of winners make a belated return to action with CAPE PALACE looking to have the stronger form. The Gosden colt is rated 95 having placed in a conditions race at Newbury just over a year ago that has worked out well. Seasony also won last September when making a successful debut at Chelmsford and should make a race of it but Fox Duty Free let temperament get the better of him at Kempton on his reappearance when swerving and unseating leaving the stalls. Jeddeyd made a decent debut at Wolverhampton recently while the newcomer Lydford is a half-brother to the high-class stayer Big Orange.
