        Verdict

        Last year’s winner Emiyn is at his best here having won at the track again in July. The progressive Baez is upped in class and raised 9lb after his latest success over 2m here. However, she beat Yorkindness earlier and the latter subsequently beat It's Good To Laugh at Musselburgh so is preferred to stablemate Pons Aelius. ZEALANDIA is another facing a tougher task but won with plenty left in the tank at Goodwood and this longer trip may bring further progress. Stable companion The Grand Visir hasn’t won since 2021 and the same comment applies to Tashkhan while Earlofthecotswolds is best on the all-weather.
