        Verdict

        Rock The Race couldn’t match the finishing pace of Pesk Ebrel at Dieppe but finished well ahead of Epi Sacre. Spirit Sun will probably be back over fences after this and hasn’t raced in more than 12 months. Tarmiking has an even longer absence to overcome and the fitness of Defi Des Mottes will also have to be taken on trust but AJAS (NAP) has had a couple of runs this year and his latest second behind the promising My Way over fences at Auteuil was a cracking effort in the context of a race like this. Estona Sport, second at Auteuil in March, looks the pick of the remainder.
