In depth

Verdict

REINE FEE, a winner over hurdles here, only just failed to concede the winner 15lb at Navan last month and though up 3lb can go one better. Springfield Lodge had signalled an imminent victory when placed on this track and duly obliged at Downpatrick. A 5lb rise shouldn't prove too much of a problem though third-placed Crack On Corrie was staying on and will be suited by the slightly longer trip. Trumps Ace has won twice around here and is just 2lb higher than her last victory, the latter remark also applying to Something Sweet, who has Liam Quinlan's claim to aid her cause.
