Verdict

Many of these are racing over the trip for the first time including Fruits Of Glory, who couldn't quite hold off Baily Thunder over 2m5f at Sligo. Thousand Tears lost his maiden tag over 2m4f at Kilbeggan, his first start over a trip that far, but Hello Pilgrim won over the trip at Sligo a year ago and over 2m6f at Limerick in June. Colin Bowe's mare is respected but this can go to CAHIRDOWN BOY (NAP). Eric McNamara's charge, a comfortable winner over 2m6f at Thurles in February, was having his first subsequent start at Roscommon a month ago when he led three out and had just been joined by William Of Wykeham, who was completing a double, when falling at the last.
