Handsome Dan won this a year ago and is the only course and distance winner in the line-up. He hasn't been in anywhere near that kind of form subsequently so has dropped back to the same mark. Katie O'Farrell gave Strain Of Fame a peach of a ride to beat Hello Louie and Lily Of Killarney over 2m4f here last time but the third can turn the tables over this longer trip as she had previously scored over 2m7f at Downpatrick. Anything saddled by Tony Martin with Ruby Walsh on board has to be considered and though Derryarkin has shown very little to date he may come into his own over this longer trip. Bottle Rattler scored over 2m5f on fast ground at Downpatrick and didn't appear to quite get home over this trip on soft going at Listowel. DERRYLEA GIRL tackles the trip for the first time and by the way she has been finishing her two most recent runs, including her maiden victory at Tramore, she should be suited and is handed the vote.
