Benrouge attempted to make all on his chasing debut over 2m5f at Cork and was still in front when falling three out. If Not For You was progressing nicely over timber and will have learnt from his chasing debut behind two useful rivals at Thurles. Illtakeitfromhere had every chance when falling at the last on just his second start over fences at Wexford but that looks to have affected his confidence as he ran poorly over hurdles at Cork subsequently. Rock's Field, a winner over hurdles at Punchestown in February, is the type to make a chaser and is one to note but it's about time RAFI DE TRIANA was scoring over fences and his overall form, including when runner-up in a Cork handicap last month, looks good enough for this.
