Verdict

AUGUSTIN will start a short price here and should land the spoils. Willie Mullins' French-bred grey has the pedigree of a smart chaser and though not showing a great deal on his debut at Navan in January he looked the type to derive major benefit from the run. Ben Button finished runner-up in a Dromahane point-to-point in December and looked in need of a much stiffer test of stamina on his bumper debut at Leopardstown. The two newcomers, Sizinguptheamazon and Skipping On, are both bred to be chasers and unlikely to have the pace for this.
