Noel Meade wouldn't have too many runners in maiden hunter chases so Fermoyle Flyer, a winner on heavy ground at Tattersalls Farm in December, has to be on the short list. Thetalkinsover doesn't win very often and owed his recent success at Nenagh to another fine ride from Derek O'Connor who this time is on board FINAL GIFT and it's John Costello's charge who looks the one to be on. He's won twice under O'Connor between the flags in-between a decent effort in a novice hurdle at Hereford and looks the type to go on to better things. Lord Heathfield ran 13 times in points before winning then completed a double and was still in front when falling on his hat-trick bid so he's one to keep an eye on in the betting.
