Verdict

The last three short-priced favourites have won this and HIGHLY TOXIC is likely to be the market leader this time. A €60,000 yearling and full brother to the Group 1 winner Chinese White, he hasn't lived up to his pedigree so far but has been highly tried and his third place in a Limerick Listed contest behind the odds-on Answered would be good enough for this. Tetraites will ensure he doesn't have things his own way as he made a very pleasing comeback behind Ripples Effect at Limerick with plenty of better fancied rivals behind. The Panhandler was staying on at the finish in that latter event so today's longer trip will be in his favour while Theos Well missed the break and was soon struggling though he's another who was going on at the finish.
