Verdict

Asockastar showed massive improvement on previous efforts when a close third to the potentially useful Indevan at Gowran and won't need much more to go close. Rough Justice started odds-on at Punchestown in February but couldn't cope with Railway Tommy and looks more like a staying hurdler. The Pounds will be fancied to get off the mark after promising efforts at Thurles and Cork but a chance is taken with RIVER SLANEY. Liz Doyle's charge started off with a fair run behind Waaheb in 2011 but ran poorly on his next two starts that year and didn't reappear until running really well over hurdles at Thurles last month. With that his belt he can start making up for lost time.
