Verdict

Boom Boom Boom looks capable of winning at this level but could do with the ground to dry out. Bal De Rio won a claimer on heavy ground here in March and a handicap at Ballinrobe last month. He never got involved at Kilbeggan last time but should make a bold bid here. The four-year-old Pont Audemer won on soft ground on the Flat in France and over timber at Limerick in January. He's performed well in two subsequent starts but is 19lb higher than that victory. GRANGE WALK is much better over fences as he showed when landing a Grade B handicap at Gowran in March. He reverts to hurdles on a 33lb lower mark than over the bigger obstacles and can take advantage. New Ross won a handicap here in December and hasn't been disgraced in two subsequent starts.
