Verdict

SIZING EUROPE missed his scheduled comeback in the jnwine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal which may not be a bad thing as he'd been beaten twice in that 3m event which taxes his stamina to the limit. Henry De Bromhead's brilliant two-miler may have lost his Champion Chase crown at Cheltenham but looked as good as ever when returning over this trip at Gowran last month and is impossible to oppose despite the fact that Tranquil Sea has won this for the past two years. Edward O'Grady's charge has now won a dozen of his 32 starts and is always tough to beat though he doesn't quite have the quality of the selection and second place looks the best he can hope for. Magnanimity has shown his best form at around this trip and he's been racing over further in all recent starts so could challenge for second spot but the classy novice Rathlin has been disappointing in his two runs so far this season. Let Yourself Go has some decent form to his credit but looks out of his depth.
