Verdict

The long winning run of WESTERNER LADY came to an end when beaten at Cork by Alpha Des Obeaux. A bad mistake early in the race unsettled her and she could never get to the winner but she can return to winning ways here. She had earlier beaten today's rival Presenting Mahler easily at Listowel while Hello Sweetie, who made a successful chasing debut over the minimum here last month, was out of her depth when tackling Grade 3 company over hurdles at Down Royal a couple of weeks ago. Rock On The Moor looks a threat on her chasing bow though she's starting out over the bigger obstacles a bit late in life. Her close second to the odds-on Vroum Vroum Mag in the David Nicholson at Cheltenham was an excellent run and she could be very useful in her new career.
