Verdict
Lambro has cost supporters dearly after being well backed on both runs. He looked held when carried out in a maiden point at Lingstown last November and couldn't quite match the pace of the front pair on his bumper debut at Thurles in March but better is expected and it would be no surprise to see him go in here. However, there was much to like about the run of GRAN TORINO at Gowran in June as he was attempting to concede 7lb to Viking Visitor, who followed up in a very strong Bellewstown bumper a couple of weeks later. That form looks good enough for this as winning point-to-pointer Good Time Donie, who is doing well in bumpers, will be suited by a longer trip in time.
