Verdict

Sam's Choice followed a promising debut at Punchestown last September with a poor run back there three weeks later on testing ground which can't have been his form. KILBARRY CHIANTI was only four lengths behind De Lady In Red at Galway and the winner landed a better race at Roscommon on Monday so a repeat may be good enough for this. State Of Honor made a promising start in what looked a strong Ballinrobe bumper earlier this month and looks an obvious threat while Khadaash, a son of Kingman and related to four Flat winners, went for 200,000gns as a yearling but only 10,000gns at the sales last autumn. Patrick Mullins' presence on the well-bred In A Nice Way is interesting while any money for The Friday Man should be noted.
