Verdict

It's difficult to imagine either Cheyenne Girl or Vic Chic getting involved but the remaining quartet are contenders. Indian Fairy, a winner over hurdles at Tramore in August, was a bit fortunate to finish runner-up on her chasing bow at Downpatrick and may do better over further though she jumped well which should stand her in good stead over a trio of chasing newcomers. Jennies Jewel, a surprise runner-up behind the prolific Annie Power in the Grade 1 Mares Champion Hurdle at Punchestown, has a fitness advantage after a couple of recent runs but Our Katie goes well fresh as she showed when winning easily on her reappearance at Thurles last November. She continued to run well and her pedigree suggests she should be even better over fences. URTICAIRE arrived from France with a big reputation and though she didn't quite live up to expectations her overall form is strong. Jumping fences was always more likely to be her game so she can make a successful start.
