Holy Roman Empress, by American Pharoah out of the brilliant two-year-old Damson, could do with a victory for the paddocks but hasn't really shone in her two runs to date. Donnacha rides rather than stable companion Passion, who caught the eye on her debut here last month. Jim Bolger has three entries with Kevin Manning on board Sasta, who was well beaten when dropped to 6f at Leopardstown. Lemista went unsupported on her debut over 7f at Leopardstown and never got involved but was noted staying on nicely when the race was all over and that should have brought her on enough to make her presence felt here though UNKNOWN PLEASURES looks the one to beat. From a stable having a brilliant season with juvenile fillies, she made a very promising debut over this track and trip when just failing to match strides with Yaxeni and can go one better. New York Girl is related to plenty of winners and is a newcomer to note.
