Verdict

Dermot Weld won the first running of this a year ago with an odds-on chance and the Rip Van Winkle filly SHAHZEENA, who is out of a useful 7f winner, should attract support and is handed the vote. Way Of Light is by Dylan Thomas so should do better in her second season while Fact Or Folklore showed potential on her introduction at Leopardstown where she stayed on strongly behind Easter over the 7f trip. Cruidin's first season didn't pan out as expected after a bright opening and Peremptory was beaten a long way on her introduction on fast ground at the Curragh.
