In depth
Verdict
Grange Walk is only 1-13 over hurdles but has gone really well over timber the last twice in competitive handicaps under today's pilot. He seems sure to be involved again but the handicapper has reacted by hiking him 6lb for those two defeats. Skradin should go well on handicap debut after a maiden hurdle success last month and the same comment is applicable to CONYERS HILL, who broke his duck at Clonmel in September. He impressed that day so just gets the vote. Showman as is another for the shortlist as he also landed his maiden hurdle last time and may well prove better than the neck verdict suggests.
