Verdict
Sullane Hill easily beat a long odds-on chance in a match at Boulta last month but is difficult to evaluate. Jan Maat is related to numerous winners on the Flat and was purchased by Gigginstown after finishing runner-up in a point at Bartlemy in May. Squadron Commander has a smart pedigree for jumping and is an obvious danger to all given his connections though it's another newcomer, TARRYTOWN, who catches the eye. He's by Rip Van Winkle and the fifth foal of a mare who has already produced four winners so he's taken to continue the family tradition.
