In depth

Verdict

Assurance, who made her debut in a Group 1 last season, has been disappointing though may not have been suited by front-running at the Curragh and her stable is in much better form. Fictitious Lady has faded in the closing stages when tackling longer trips the last twice so this should be her optimum. Lady Tasmania caught the eye on her debut at Dundalk though that was last September while Nawafeth must have been showing something at home as she started odds-on for her Limerick debut in June but could only finish fourth. SINDHIA ran well when runner-up to Pearls Galore on the latter track and the winner then easily landed a Cork handicap before a close second in a Gowran Group 3 so Michael Halford's filly can go one better. Solene Lilyette looked a likely future winner when a close fourth at Leopardstown then didn't get the run of the race at Dundalk.
