Way Back Home showed very little on the Flat but looks like being much better over hurdles judging on a staying-on third behind better fancied rivals at Gowran. Union Gap also showed much improved form on the latter track when runner-up in a big field and the testing ground should be in his favour. Brisk Tempo showed plenty of ability on the Flat without winning for Richard Fahey and Gavin Cromwell will get the best out of him while Maze Runner steadily improved on the level ending with a victory over 1m4f on soft ground at Galway. BAND OF OUTLAWS won three times on the Flat and has a mark of 93. He's won on soft ground and with his stable still firing on all cylinders he looks the one to be on.
