Verdict

Gordon Elliott has never won this but Cool Survivor should make a bold bid to put matters right having followed his debut success at Punchestown by making all in a Listed race over this track and trip. He jumped superbly that day and a 3lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run. MONBEG PARK (NAP), a winner between the flags and of a bumper here, couldn't get to the useful Affordable Fury on his debut over timber at Galway but defied a mistake at the second last to land a Punchestown maiden in style. He looks one to follow while Hiddenvalley Lake's victory over Santonito was given a boost when the latter scored at Clonmel on Thursday. Letsbeclearaboutit has won half of his six starts and been beaten by top- performers in the other three so is by no means out of this.
