Blankiedoodie finished seven lengths behind ADAPT TO DAN at Gowran but reversed the form on softer going at Thurles last week. A 6lb penalty hands the initiative back to the latter, who can go in again. Starlight Red was attempting to concede 13lb to Ask Delaney when beaten just over a length at Tipperary and, though no better off, was staying on so strongly over that slightly shorter trip that he can reverse the placings. Raffaello, who completed a double last summer, is 8lb lower than his last winning mark and looked on the way back to form at Dundalk.
