Verdict

Fool's Wildcat ran a fine race to finish runner-up in a tough handicap here yesterday and would have an obvious chance if turning out again. Away We Go is better known as a staying chaser these days but he's 13lb lower over timber and must be given the utmost respect despite a big weight. Mazara is capable of a big effort as he will be better for his recent return on this track and landed a maiden at Clonmel in March in the style of a progressive type. GOBAN SAOR has had a few problems with his jumping but has some very decent form when getting his act together including a couple of narrow defeats in good quality maidens. He'll be better for his two recent runs after a break and can gain his first victory at the ninth attempt. The Buck won a handicap easily over slightly further here in October but ran a shocker from 9lb higher when favourite at Naas subsequently.
