Verdict

Gymkhana, a winner over this trip at Gowran in September, showed very good speed for a long way over 6f at Naas on his reappearance and that should have put him straight. SALTONSTALL (NAP) made an excellent return to action on the same card in the Irish Lincolnshire where he was always travelling well but just failed to hold the favourite On The Go Again. He can go one better though Aussie Valentine finished close up in third and should make a bold bid to reverse the places. Admodum began last year with two victories so shouldn't lack fitness while Allegio made all and went further away as the race unfolded when tackling 1m2f here last month though meets speedier rivals and third-placed Aussie Valentine has a massive pull in the weights.
