In depth

Verdict

Cliff House just got the better of Chance To Dance at Roscommon last time and Eighteen Summers finished ahead of Diplomat over 1m2f here last month. Sailors Warn has been upped 13lb for winning easily at Sligo while Mutual Regard has his first start for Johnny Murtagh and is 10lb higher than when scoring at Ffos Las. Cardinal Palace has claims after finishing ahead of both Chapter Seven and Croi An Or when fourth at this track, but the vote goes to ERLKONIG. A winner when trained in Germany, he scored over hurdles for his new yard at Tipperary earlier this month and has plenty of room for further improvement on the Flat.
