In depth

Verdict

COSTALOTMORE was allowed a clear lead by the opposition including runner-up Mahlers Dollar at Listowel last month and he duly took advantage to win by a distance. It’s difficult to judge the merits of that form but he’s gone close over track and trip in the past and has a fitness advantage over On Eagles Wings. The latter was last seen winning at Limerick in March while Archies Charm finished a lot closer at Navan on his comeback and can also figure. Torygraph has gone backwards since a debut second at Punchestown last year and Elusive Star has shown little in bumpers so far.
