Verdict

Dessie Hughes won this last year but Vote Of Confidence will need to show some improvement on his three runs to date over timber. Eshtiaal won twice on the Flat for Brian Meehan and Gordon Elliott puts a 7lb claimer on board for his hurdling debut. He's one to note but the vote goes to WALK TO FREEDOM. He would have given the short-priced favourite The Herds Garden something to think about at Fairyhouse last week but for crashing through the rails on the run-in and compensation awaits. Alpha Des Obeaux started odds-on and won a point at Tinahely by 20 lengths on his debut in March. He has a very stout pedigree and will certainly be one to watch now sent jumping.
