Verdict

Last year's Galway Hurdle winner Moon Dice fell over hurdles at Roscommon in August and suffered the same fate on his chasing bow at Gowran a couple of weeks ago. He may need a confidence booster here and faces a stiff task against TOFINO BAY and Ballyadam Brook. The former looked in need of the run when making his chasing debut at Navan but showed his battling qualities to get the better of a decent field and with that under his belt can follow up. Ballyadam Brook fell at the first when tackling Grade 3 company last time but had previously given the useful Pride Of The Artic a fright at Killarney and won't go down without a fight. Dark Prospect made a winning debut over fences at Downpatrick and will have come on for the experience while any of the remainder could make a nice chaser and should be watched for the future.
