Verdict
Banner Rebel made a successful debut in a maiden point at Dromahane and is the type to make good progress while Clounts Pride had to be rousted along to win by a head at Boulta. Groody Rover was well supported at Kildorrerey and won by 12l so he's definitely on the short list though the mare MISS PERNICKETY will take some beating as she ran in a Gowran bumper last month where she was staying on strongly over a trip much too short. Costalotmore completed his double with a 30l victory at Courtown and is another on the upgrade.
