MORPH SPEED (NAP) has won over 1m4f at Dundalk and was a close third over a mile there earlier this month before a comfortable victory at Tipperary on Tuesday. He has a 6lb penalty to contend with but looks the one to beat. Fugacious has now had 23 starts without winning but has been narrowly beaten the last twice over a mile at the Curragh and Leopardstown. He's tackling this trip for the first time but is usually staying on so should be suited. Herodotus didn't show much in the UK nor on his first two starts for new connections but produced a much improved effort over this trip at Dundalk and a similar run can see him in contention. Na Caith Tobac completed a double in the autumn and hasn't been running badly over hurdles recently while Tony Martin should soon find a race for Firstman, a dual winner in France.
