Verdict

FINE RIGHTLY (NAP) looks a smart staying chaser in the making having finished third in the Grade 1 Irish Gold Cup before a facile victory at Down Royal. He also landed a novices' Grade 3 at this time a year ago and will be very difficult to beat. Toon River is no youngster but showed himself in top form by taking a tough Gowran handicap three weeks ago and will be better suited by testing conditions than most. Arctic Skipper was stepped into this class at Naas earlier this month and couldn't quite cope but it wasn't a bad effort and he looks the type to make further progress. Pairofbrowneyes has really come into his own and has been given a break since a very impressive victory over Killer Crow at Limerick, where he was completing a double initiated on this track.
