Verdict
Han Solo won this in 2020 and is back on a winning mark judging by a much-improved run under today's rider at Clonmel. Darkdeserthighway attracted strong support at Dundalk and her followers hardly had a moment's concern so she should get into the action again despite an 8lb rise. Colin Keane has been on board the lightly-raced Scarriff the last twice and takes the ride again but Skontonovski has been unable to take advantage of a falling mark. BALLYSAX has never won but hasn't been running as badly as form figures suggest. He twice ran well over 7f here in May and Kevin Manning can steer him to a maiden victory. Any money for Dragon Roll should be noted with Seamie Heffernan an intriguing booking.
