Several of the newcomers have had experience in Dundalk barrier trials with Coolmeen Royal, a £90,000 Breeze-up purchase and related to six winners, the only winner. Scholar cost 350,000gns and is a half-brother to a couple of winners while Tea Party is by Caravaggio out of the Group 1 winner Airwave who has produced seven winners. The latter has had two barrier trials runs so won't lack experience but PIRATE JENNY's narrow defeat at Navan has worked out exceptionally well and she can go one better. Ecoutez found the minimum too short on her debut on the latter track and should make a bold bid.
