Verdict

Moviestar returns from a trip to Dubai where he never really got going. He might just need this and it's a big ask for Herald The Dawn to return from over a year off though he did win the Group 2 Futurity here as a juvenile. Gordon Lord Byron has returned to form having beaten ONLY MINE (NAP) here in May before a fair run over an extra furlong at Leopardstown. The runner-up is 9lb better off for a beating of just over a length so looks to have every chance of going one better. Peticoatgovernment is a smart handicapper who hasn't yet made the step-up in grade while Master Speaker has a poor strike-rate for such a talented sprinter.
