Verdict
AUGUSTE RODIN will be at short odds to follow up his Epsom victory and is impossible to oppose. Runner-up King Of Steel was an easy winner of the King Edward VII Stakes last week so it could prove to be a vintage year, especially as the sixth Waipiro also won at the Royal meeting. Third-placed White Birch was beaten just over five lengths with Sprewell, who became unbalanced on the Epsom gradients, a further couple of lengths behind. Up And Under has been beaten by the latter pair the last twice and is still a maiden though both runs were on very testing ground and he looks the type to make progress.
